Emergya Wind Technologies (EWT):

EWT stands for Emergya Wind Technologies and is a Dutch headquartered designer, manufacturer and constructor of high performance 250kW-1MW wind turbines. EWT operates at the heart of the global energy transition towards lower carbon and more sustainable forms of power generation, helping individuals, businesses and communities of all sizes to become distributed energy champions. Our projects typically range from 1 to 4 wind turbines, where the housings are purchased, and the other components are manufactured and assembled in our factory. Our main markets are Europe, America, and Asia. EWT has 6 locations, in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, India, and the United States. You will work at our headquarters in Amersfoort.

EWT has a true production environment DNA. Some describe the work pressure as dynamic; others experience it as chaotic. This is also noticeable in the ICT environment. Many tasks are ad-hoc, and your colleagues rely on you for this. In terms of the IT team, it is compact. Your colleague assists with first-line questions. Furthermore, you bear responsibility for the organization’s ICT. You report to the Director of Finance & Control.

Job Summary:

As Allround IT-manager at EWT, you will bring a fresh perspective to our IT landscape. You will not only set the IT direction but also actively participate and solve various IT issues! Additionally, you will guide us through transitions to the Cloud and a new ERP system. With your arrival, our IT will be in control and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities:

As Allround IT-manager at EWT, you will have full responsibility for our ICT environment.

• Infrastructure renewal: Our hybrid systems and standalone solutions are outdated and vulnerable. You will lead our transition to the Cloud.
• ERP transition: We are transitioning from IFS to InforLN. You will guide this process along with our external partner, Xibis.
• Wi-Fi renewal: You will play a key role in replacing the entire Wi-Fi infrastructure in the warehouses.
• Application management and development: After the transitions, you will oversee the management and further development of our applications.
• IT standardization and deployment: We have multiple locations and are growing. You will ensure a unified IT approach across various locations, now and in the future.
• IT support: Your colleague handles first-line issues. If she is unable to resolve something, you will either take care of it or coordinate with Lemontree.
• This is a hands-on role that is challenging and dynamic.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You don’t get easily flustered! In a dynamic environment, you remain calm, set priorities, and act accordingly. You delegate, coordinate, and maintain an overview. Additionally, you steer towards the future and innovate. We expect from you:

• An experienced IT innovator who enjoys hands-on work;
• Experience with transitions to a Cloud environment and ERP systems;
• Knowledge of InforLN is a strong advantage;
• Experience in a dynamic environment, preferably in a production setting;
• Soft skills to create buy-in;
• Fluent in English (and preferably also Dutch).
