Business Development Manager – Control Room

Today, with over 600 turbines installed across North America, Europe, and Asia, EWT has a proven, certified, and high-performing product range for the decentralized wind sector, including energy solutions and integration with other sources of generation.

For our HQ location in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Business Development Manager- Control Room

Due to our continued growth, and new business opportunities, we are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record to join our team as business development manager for the Control Room to find new prospects, plus identify and develop control room solution-related opportunities in targeted markets and accounts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Identifying and creating a customer base
  • Develop and track business opportunities
  • Creating the brand (new business) image and value
  • Initiating, driving and supporting BD and sales activities together with the global EWT organization
  • Developing and negotiating proposals and commercial agreements.
  • Support growth in addressing new markets and customers
  • Work closely with the Management team and Corporate Strategy in identifying opportunities in different markets
  • Represent EWT at trade fairs and other relevant events to strengthen the  brand and product positioning

Your profile:

  • A highly motivated and flexible person who is willing to work in an international-oriented company
  • A University degree (business, marketing, engineering) or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience and proven track record in technology and solution sales
  • Ability to combine commercial and technical skills whereby continuous learning is key.
  • Strong commercial interest and understanding of the market
  • Experiences in understanding and selling solutions including Software and Services
  • Used to work in a matrix environment.
  • Can effectively work across organizational and national boundaries.
  • Already living and working in the Netherlands
  • Fluent in business English
