Head of Administration Operations & Maintenance (full-time)
As our Head of Administration you are fully responsible for timely and accurate financial accounting, reporting and data recording and reporting for our (global) Operations and Maintenance business unit. In addition to this focus you will also be the Head od Administration for our Rotor blades factory as well as some other smaller entities in our Group.
In this role you are supported by a team of administrative employees (AR / AP / Cash / Payroll). This is a new role in our organization therefore your input in required on further defining your role and improving the related processes.
You report into and work closely together with the Group Controller and you have one direct report (for AR) and you are supported by a team of administrative employees for AP/Cash/Payroll. Together with our existing Head of Administration for the OEM business you lead this team.
Your focus will be on:
- Financial Accounting & Reporting:
- Accurately and timely recording of all financial transactions of your assigned entities
- Monitoring accounts receivable balances
- Monitoring payment terms with suppliers
- Preparation of monthly balance sheet and income statement including accruals, provisions, tax balances.
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Preparation of annual budget for O&M
- Checks & balances
- Monthly close of your assigned entities including initial review of reported numbers
- Monitoring completeness of invoicing to our customers
- Analysis of service margins realized
- Reviewing outgoing payment proposals
- Monthly transfer pricing adjustments and intercompany invoicing
- Jointly manage administrative team
What are we looking for?
You are ready for a next step in your career, either from an accountancy firm or from an international trading company.
It is essential you have in depth experience on bookkeeping from A-Z and at least 5 years of working experience. You will have a Bachelor or Master (HBO or WO) in Accounting, Economics or equivalent. As we are a global business it is important that you are fluent in English and preferably Dutch. It would be a nice to have if you have knowledge of IFRS.
As our business is expanding we are looking for someone that can grow together with our business. This means we are looking for someone with a hands on mentality as operational involvement is important, but also someone that is able to lead a growing team when further expansion of our business will occur.
As our environment is constantly changing you need a problem-solving attitude and a “can do” mentality. As this is a new role, your pro-active input is required in defining your role and setting up new processes.
