Marketing & Communication Specialist

For our HQ location in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, we are currently looking for a Marketing & Communications Specialist (20-24 hours per week) to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing and communication strategies to increase the company’s brand awareness.

In this role you work with the international Sales & Business Development Teams & the senior Management Team to:

  • Take care of all external communication focussing on media, press releases etc.
  • Be in charge of marketing the EWT brand (manage marketing materials such as advertisements, brochures and social media content.)
  • Refine and finalise the company message to the outside world, building on the messaging EWT has already.
  • Take the organisational lead when we’re attending exhibitions and conferences.
  • Drive media interface strategy and messaging.
  • Identify and engage with team members in the execution of messaging through online media.
  • Work with internal team members, both in Amersfoort and in international locations, to provide marketing support
  • Create and lead demand generation (lead gen) campaigns in international (key) markets.
  • Link with the Sales Engineers to improve website to CRM lead management/functionality.
  • Support increased awareness of specialised segments of industry within key markets (including net metering and other host driven demand for our power from sectors such as wastewater, cold storage, agriculture).
  • Collaborate with HR on employer branding.
  • Analyse market data.

What will you bring;

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or a related study
  • Strong technical verbal and writing skills in English and preferably Dutch
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience
  • Skilled in managing social media platforms, website, video editing etc. Everything you might expect from a communications & marketing specialist
  • Excellent time management skills, commercial- and cost awareness
  • Pragmatic and self-starting attitude
  • Currently living and working in the Netherlands
