With hundreds of turbines already in operation in the UK, we are looking for a Sales Manager Italy, to greatly expand our business in Italy in the next 5 years.
As Italian Sales Manager you will be responsible for significantly growing the sales of EWT turbines and building a long term O&M revenue stream.
Main tasks and responsibilities
You will be growing EWT’s relationships and potential client bases most relevant to single turbine and small windfarm sales. These include wind developers, municipal authorities, communities but also industry and utilities. You will be responsible for identifying, presenting, pursuing and closing projects.
Next to this, you will, in cooperation with the Sales Engineers, prepare proposals and present these to our potential customers. You will be able to refine and explain the technical and economical advantages of our proposition and convince and negotiate the terms and conditions of the contract, resulting in a positive decision.
You will actively gather market intelligence and distribute knowledge inside the company and promoting EWT by participating at relevant conferences and exhibitions in order to further increase the market awareness of EWT.
You are responsible for managing existing relationships with existing EWT customers in Italy.
- Preferably at least two years’ experience in renewables sales.
- A confident negotiator who has strong experience of closing transactions as well as identifying opportunities.
- A strong,self starting,commercially minded, customer focused person.
- In possession of a strong network to support you in achieving the build out of the EWT brand.
- Capable of good co-operation with the rest of the sales team located in the Netherlands.
- Able to work in a highly sales driven environment, with limited local supervision, and
- Able to work in a highly competent and professional engineering and project environment.
- Highly competent in communicating with an HQ located outs.
As our headquarters is located in Modena, you will be allowed to flexibly work from home and from the Modena office and you will visit our headquarters in the Netherlands regularly, as well as you will be working closely with the Team in Modena. You will mostly be supported by the Dutch sales back office, who will coordinate any necessary support by engineering-, operations- and service departments.
