Glenwherry Wind Ltd, produces its 10 millionth kWh of energy from a 250kW EWT Wind Turbine

The first of its kind installed at Glenwherry Quarry in 2012, the EWT DW52*250 HH50 wind turbine has just generated it’s 10 millionth kWh.

Annual consumption of electricity from grid network supply to the Quarry site post installation has been reduced by 47% following commissioning of this 250kW wind turbine.

We have since erected a second 250kw turbine with the same level of attention from EWT and look forward to reaching the 10MWh milestone in the not-too-distant future”
