HomeEWT is pleased to announce that Brett Pingree, Commercial Head of North America for EWT (a 1 MW wind turbine manufacturer), has been elected to be a member of the Board of Directors for the Distributed Wind Energy Association “DWEA”. Brett is a former board member and founding member of DWEA and has participated on several committees during his previous tenure with the group.
Brett brings 20 years of distributed wind commercial experience with successful projects across dozens of states, as well as at the international level. Additionally, Brett brings extensive involvement with policy and regulatory development at both the state and federal levels. The United States is seeing unprecedented demand for distributed wind due to the commitment to its transition to clean energy through the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) and DWEA, along with EWT and the rest of its members, is rapidly scaling its presence and effort in the marketplace to support this transition.
